Technique: oil, collage and acrylic on panel Description: In the work a female face is depicted in all its breadth in an almost frontal pose. Her very predominant face is surrounded by tracings that seem to build a sort of mosaic in the background. The angular shapes that are also found in the locks of hair give the work a "Comic Manga" look and suggest to the viewer the feeling of being in the presence of a figure from those playing cards with representations of monarchical hierarchies; it is therefore the sign that makes the image appear similar to a comic strip underlined by evident hatching on different areas of colored adhesive paper thus creating an enchanted and timeless atmosphere.
